How much does the cave trip cost?
Please book cave tours in advance to help us schedule our tours and coordinate our guides.
Adult: $40 *
Child (Still at School): $20 *
* If there are only two people it is $50 each.
How long is the cave trip?
The cave trip usually takes one and a half hours from the time you leave and return to the café.
What clothes and shoes should I wear?
We recommend you bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy, and walking shoes with good grip.
A full change of clothes is advised.
Clothing and footwear can be hired by arrangement.
Is it suitable for children?
We wouldn’t recommend taking children under seven years old caving, however please discuss this with us.
It is not suitable for children in strollers or back/front packs.
There is a bush walk near the café that may suit smaller children while the older children and adults do the cave trip. There are also toys and books in the café and a children’s garden outside with logs to climb and tunnels to go through.
How fit do I need to be?
We recommend you have a good level of fitness. The trip takes one and a half hours and includes walking over farmland and up and down steps.
Can I take my camera to take photos?
No. To keep both our guests and the fragile cave environment safe we do not allow anyone to take cameras into the cave.
Do I need to book?
We always advise booking so we can ensure there is a guide available. If you show up without booking you need to understand that we may not be able to take you right away, if at all.
It says there has to be a minimum of two people, but I am by myself, can I still come?
Please call us and we can advise when there is a tour you can join.
Can I wear my glasses?
Can I bring my dog to the café?
Yes, but please don’t tie him by the front door and let him bark and growl at us, other customers and chase our cat. And please clean up after him.
Can we BYO to the café?
No, we have a full license.
We are going caving, can we bring our own food?
Yes, we have lots of outdoor tables and areas suitable for a picnic and you are welcome to bring your own food.
